I just got to Pete's place, in Lund. I had to spend an extra day in Amsterdam, due to our flight to Gothenburg being cancelled as we circled the airport. They'd been snowed on severely, and it was too windy and icy to land. So we were rerouted to Hamburg (Germany, where the Hamburger was invented), sat in the plane at their airport for 4 hours while the airline figured out what to do with us. They ended up giving us hotel rooms in Amsterdam, so we flew back to Amsterdam, got hotel rooms, and were rebooked for flights to Gothenburg today. It took for bloody ever, but I had a cute little room to myself, and that was nice. Amsterdam looks like Skagit Valley, without the mountains off to the east.
