I spent a few hours clearing blackberry and morning glory in the back corner of our yard, and made a fenced area to put their cuttings in. It was surprisingly exhausting! Of course, the high temperature probably had to do with that. While I only worked on relatively small portions of yard, the difference is amazing. Now I am filthy, and finally getting hungry.

While surfing the web for some pictures to use for potential gardening icons (didn't find what I want; may have to just get some pics from my own garden), I stumbled upon the website for the Baha'i Faith, here. I skimmed through the FAQs (down the page a bit), and was rather impressed by what I read. They seem like most sensible people, if maybe a little overly optimistic, but I guess that's what religion is for, optimism.

High fives to you for making a kick-ass garden, or for planting one at all.

I've read about that faith in the past. There was something that bothered me about it, but I can't remember what (I'll look at the link later) but the few people I've met that practice it seemed like nice, sensible people.
I'm glad you found the Baha'i Faith to be of interest to you. Do check out the Baha'is locally. The core activities of the Faith are open to all.
